Why Sonic Lens?

There are two types of quality regarding audio electronics, lossless and lossy.

Lossless audio electronics maintain the highest signal integrity, minimizing degradation regarding the transfer function of the signal’s energy spectrum. The output signal retains all of the input signal’s detail and “time coherence”.

Lossy audio electronics are the opposite; a portion of the signal’s energy spectrum is permanently lost, causing degradation. This lost signal energy can never be recovered. The remaining output signal has been degraded, due to “time smearing” of the input signal’s energy spectrum. Thus, time smearing cannot be undone by any technology, present or future. The dynamic nuances and detail of the original signal are lost, forever.

Lossy example:
input signal is the word “texting” ... output signal becomes “txtng” ... (the letters “e” and “i” are lost and unrecoverable)

The Sonic Lens (ultra high definition microphone preamplifier) has been specifically designed, from the ground up, to be lossless.

This new level of performance retains and preserves the “absolute accuracy” of the input signal’s energy spectrum.

The transient / dynamic response becomes natural and captivating.

This is the wow factor that sets us apart.

Another way to consider this explanation is to use a digital circuit equivalent of a microphone preamplifier. The result would be a digital circuit equivalent, whose digital clock has perfect timing, with “zero jitter”.
